Leidy Marin was born in Medellín, Colombia and came to know Jesus when she was 24 years old. At that time she began to serve in the youth leadership of her church and did so for 10 years. In 2016, as a professional in the field of environmental engineering and water management, she began to feel a strong compassion to help on health issues in vulnerable places, using her professional skills and talents. She made numerous short-term mission trips in and out of Colombia, developing environmental projects and activities with children, you, and refugees, presenting Jesus's love along with Biblical truths through activities and projects. She has served with LGWI in Ecuador since 2019.
