Why South America? Our focus is South America but we interact with organizations working in other parts of the world and prepare staff for working elsewhere. Our strong base of operations and relationships are in Ecuador. We cannot pretend to know what solutions will work best to solve the water & sanitation needs in countries where the circumstances, culture, environment, and legal sphere are dramatically different. We feel that the successful Ecuadorian communities offer a wonderful opportunity to prepare others giving them hands on experience and working models for community development ministry in the third world.
